Why Hustle Alone Isn't The Answer

The word HUSTLE has become a popular one and one that we see all the time... and yes I use it a lot tool. Heck, I even created two 30-day planner booklets called The Daily Hustle. Hustle gets thrown around in the entrepreneur, self-starter world all the time, and the subtext is that if you hustle and you work hard day-in and day-out, you will succeed. It’s a tricky word though… Hustle alone can’t produce massive results for you. Maybe this is something you’ve noticed yourself – you’re putting in work each and every day but you’re not seeing any meaningful changes, either in your business, your career, or your personal life.

That’s because you need more than hustle. You also need to have:

  • The Right Plan: Hustle is great, but if you don’t have the right playbook, or plan in place, you’re going to end up spinning your wheels getting nowhere or end up with bad results. You're not really going to move the ball.

  • The Right Tools: Having the right tools to implement means you’ll have a system in place to achieve your goals. Having the wrong tools will end up costing you years of headaches, tons of money, and so much wasted time.

  • Community: This one is the most underrated and under-appreciated of the four. When you’re in the right community, you’ll tap into a collective knowledge and motivation that will help you in your journey. Make sure you have surrounded yourself with people who will continue to champion you and lift you higher.

  • Tenacity: It’s having the commitment to your goals and the dedication to stick with it when you hit a road bump because every great success is built on the foundation of failures.

Add those four pieces to your HUSTLE and you have a REAL recipe for success.

I know this to be true because I’ve seen it time and time again with people I have worked with in my group coaching programs and my one-on-one coaching work.

Make sure you have all of these things in place and when you do, you will move the ball. All of that hustle will pay off in the end.
